  I recently had an eye test, which normally is bulk billed, however this visit there was an out of pocket cost of over $20.00. I was also given an Optical Coherence Tomography scan, which cost $90.00 which was not a claimable Medicare rebate. I was not advised that of this at the point of sale. So you can imagine my disappointment at the Medicare office when l received over $20.00 from $140.00 bill.
